Adult Day Services Of Southeast Wisconsin LLC. is a small family owned agency serving individuals living with developmental and cognitive disabilities in Southeast Wisconsin. At Adult Day Services of Southeast Wisconsin, we believe in empowering adults with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. Our four different locations offer an enriching environment coupled with a variety of activities and support designed to promote community, socialization, and foster personal growth.

Position Overview:
As a Day Program Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and meaningful experiences for our participants. You will plan and facilitate a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and abilities of our clients, promoting social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement activity plans based on individualized goals and preferences.
• Lead group activities such as arts and crafts, games, music therapy, and recreational outings.
• Provide assistance and support with daily living tasks as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes dignity, respect, and independence.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with participants and their families.

• Experience working with adults with disabilities or in a similar caregiving role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Creative thinking and the ability to adapt activities to meet individual needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
